Splash Super Structures
Super Structures for Big Jobs
Super Structures are as they suggest the "Big Structures" including our own 20 - 80 metre wide arch shelters, which are custom designed using aluminium and or steel for the larger fabric structure needs. Splash Super Structures are designed and produced in Australia* and competitive to the larger shelter structures which have previously only been available from overseas manufacturers.
Cost Effective Fabric Structure Solutions
As a result of the escalating costs of steel in 2008, Splash invested time and money to produce their own, range of high grade aluminium (with steel) super structures that are lighter, stronger and more streamline than previous full aluminium structures.
The search for a more efficient and affordable design for large structures has been an interesting journey for Splash Structures, and not without it's expensive delays, and costly design disappointments, but the final results have put us into one of the strongest positions of our existence.
The new “Splash” Super Structures have the following aspects in mind:
- (a.) Wider Spans i.e. 20 - 100 meters
- (b.) Ease of construction and dismantling in any weather
- (c.) Saving Money
Unique Smart Design Super Structures
The fabric is suspended and tensioned “between” the frames in 3-5m modules, (instead of the one large membrane currently used on Allshelter Shelters), which are hoisted over the shelters using a thread-pulley track system, similar to that on sail masts, for all weather installation.
The extruded aluminium frame track’s, accommodate inner, outer or dual PVC skins, to allow for extra insulation, and store contaminants and corrosive materials more safely.
Splash Super Structures are ideal for :
- Regional and International Aircraft Operators
- Large Stock Piles for Mines and Ports
- Entertainment and Sporting Complexes
- Big Roofs for Warehouses, Factories and Construction Sites
- Corrosive materials storage and environments
Aluminium With Steel Frames
- Lighter and quicker to install.
- Stronger & more compact, easier to transport.
- Can be manufactured to take fabric with runners for roof or dividing walls.
- Easily assembled and relocated structures.
- Reduced damage recovery to only sections to be replaced.
- Resistant to corrosion, can be anodised.
- Can incorporate stainless steel.
Sail Rail Track System
- Sail rails enable fabric to be run between frames
- Structure is modular, 3 - 5m sections.
- Structure can be split in the future into several buildings.
- In case of catastrophic damage to fabric only damage sections need be replaced.
- Sail rails under frames can be used for internal fabric walls or hanging services from.
PVC Fabric
- Corrosion resistant, ideal for salt air, ammonia fumes etc.
- Expect a 20 year life, 5 year plus guarantee.
- Full UV protection with flame rated fabric, safe working environment.
- Very quiet in high winds, pleasant work environment.
- Does not radiate heat. High roof keeps work area cool, higher productivity.
- Reinforced, no stretching once tensioned, low maintenance.
- In case of damage can have a patch glued on to repair.
- Structure can be sealed to ensure dust can be contained for EPA requirements.
- Even light transmission gives excellent working conditions.
Easy to Transport and Relocate
- Gives management asset flexibility to utilise structures to maximum advantage.
- The structures mobility makes them very saleable.
- Ideal for remote locations with limited personnel and equipment.
- Splash teams available for supervision, full or part construction.
Strong and Reliable
- Will withstand hail, snow & ice, and can be installed in cyclone areas, rated up to 320kph winds.
- Simple construction methods with low maintenance keep annual costs down.
High Visibility
- Splash Super Structures are unique and attention grabbing, make your business stand out.
- Fabric can be sign written to promote your business.
